Heya everyone!!! We're back from our UK trip and boy was it awesome=) There were so many amazing sights and sounds(and tastes; those Brits seriously know how to work their dough) but what I really enjoyed most was the English countryside. The scenery was sooo amazing, and it felt so peaceful just looking out the window and watching the snow-covered fields pass by.... And the castles are FRGGIN COOL. We went to a few commercialised castles, and there was this really old castle called Kenilworth Castle and it looked just like those ruins you see in the history textbooks; OMG i wanted to explore it SOOO badly but it was closed at the time, and my parents wouldn't let me climb over the gate=( So in short: London is GREAT for shopping for clothes, the England countryside is the BEST part of the UK, and Paris is really not as wonderful/romantic as all those movies make it out to be.
I can't really explain every single detail of our trip, but you can see it in stop motion by the 1000+ photos we took! I kid you not, the total pics by the end of the trip was at least over a thousand=D The pics taken with the Canon camera(i.e., the higher def ones) were mostly shot by me, and the pics taken by the Sony camera were taken(i think) entirely by my brother. I am not going to bother posting all of them on Facebook - my bro is going to do that;D I'm just keeping the poser profile pics that I took for myself to use. You may see that most of them are taken with my hood down in a familiar pose; this is because I am TOTALLY OBSSESSED with Assasin's Creed now. Oh and i think one of the happiest moments in the trip was when we went to a game shop and I got my ASSASSIN'S CREED DIRECTOR'S CUT EDITION FOR COMP BABY!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!! and I heard that it's been discontinued already, so YEAH. I seriously thank god that I was able to find this one; I was squealing and jumping around the shop when I found it on offerXD.
So we arrived back in Singapore on monday afternoon, and the next day I had to take my chinese re-test with a 8 hour jet-lag. It was not nice. But I'm just going to commit the test into God's hands, and he will do the rest=). Oh, and we also swam a 11km set the next day during training. Fun eh? And I've been sleeping less than 5 hours for the past few nights thanks to the jet lag. Ah well, its a new year so who cares??!!! But it feels so good to get back into the normal routine of life; I think that I've been overseas too long this hol and missed out on too much stuff back home(my bro and I clocked almost a month in overseas time this hol, so yeah) so I won't feel like going anywhere for a while now.
Phew, that was a load off my chest. I've just been busy catching up with stuff back here the past few days, so I didn't have time to blog till now(oh my gosh it feels so good to use faceook againXD). And its the last blog post of the year already!!!!! I can't belive that its already the end of 2009, and I just started this blog this year only=). When I look back, I see many great times with friends and family alike, and I will treasure those moments fondly. I can'e believe its a new decade already... and now me and my bro are staying awake by blogging just to watch the countdown even though we still have to wake up for training at 5.30am tomorow morning. Nice way to start the new year, eh? But now the moon is shining on my pillow(it looks so surreal...ahhh), my bro just went down to on the tv, and I really must be going. So, farewell 2009! And thank you all my fans and supporters! Without you this blog wouldn't have been possible! Thank you so much! I love you guys! BYEEEEEE!!!!!!!
P.S. I didn't make any New Year Resolutions, because I think they're just a set of rules which display one's inadequacy. I know I won't do them anywayXD
