Heya guys, sorry for not posting for a while but I've had a pretty crazy first week of school, what with the Sec 1 orientation camp and all. So for those of you who don't know, I'm a PSL(Peer Support Leader) in RI and my job is to take care of the sec 1s for the entire first term and act as their buddies/mentors/big brother etc. And from Mon to Fri last week we had this whole orientation thing planned out for them, what with First Day of School on Monday to Orientation Camp from Tue to Thurs and the Junior Rafflesian Investiture Ceremony(JRIC) on Friday. It was really insane at times(sleeping 4 hrs a day during the camp frm 2-6am; showering at 1.30am once a day), and I felt sooo tired and cynical A LOT of times, but we made it through, and I feel a sense of accomplishment.
On a side note, the camp was so awesome!!! I loved Fright Night(hehe obviously, since I was the one scaring them) and Armaggedon and the War Games and the Water Games the most. It feels so good to be the one shouting the orders for once=D Thank you so much Sec 1s, for an awesome start to the year! I hope you guys enjoyed the camp as much as we guys did!;D
All the PSLs generally agree that the apathy and cynicism that we had growing inside of us since sec 2 was cut down by quite a bit(but not all of it!!!) and I feel a bit sad at how fast time flies. Looking back I can still remember MY own orientation camp and at the time we were so helpless and clueless(kinda like the sec 1s this yearXD), and now we are the ones leading them and we have to grow up just that bit more for them and for ourselves(even though I'm happy I got my first taste of authority, I didn't like it that much. I think its overrated).
Okay enough emoness.
Ugh I don't know why, but I can't seem to get in the mood for studying!!?? It still feels like the holidays to me, and I know that school has just started and all but maybe that's the reason whyXD Because my entire first week of school was spent taking care of the sec 1s, technically yesterday was my first day of proper school. AHHH I really pray that I am able to get into the studying mood quickly - I NEED to FOCUS this year.
And if you guys look at my last few blog posts(I did) you would realise that I was going through this wierdly EMO phase during the later part of the hols(like December). I don't know why I had it, but I think that I'm slowly getting over it now=) Going back to school and hanging out with my crazy and super-fun friends probably has something to do with it, but I think that watching Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 also had something to do with it. We watched it on Sunday afternoon, and I really have no idea why but when I was watching it something inside me just went click, and after the movie I realised tht the world didn't look so grey and bleak anymore=) I am smiling more and more now, and laughing more too:D I don't know why; maybe its the sheer retardedness of the movie or the cuteness of it, I dunno. But somehow, AATC2 has cured my emo problem, so as crazy as this seems, THANK YOU, AATC2, for doing just that. I'm becoming my old, happy self again and boy does it feel great. I'm even willing to forgive their desecration of many good songs, although if they dare to Alvinise any of Lady Gaga's songs I wil personally go down to Hollywood and kick ther furry butts. So once again, thanks Alvin and the Chipmunks 2=D.
Well, that's all for now folks, I need to sleep soon. Bye for now, and hopefully I will have something else to blog about soon!XD

And guess what people! It's 2010!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!! And its the first blog post of this year! YAYYYY!!!!!!! Haha I sound so hyper, and I just finished a blog post just now too(look at the timestamps) but who cares?! It's a NEW YEAR!!!!!!! A year of New Possiblities! New Hopes! New Dreams! And O-Levels?!
Er the last blog post(ie, the one I just did like 20 mins ago) was kinda rushed, cos I was trying to do it and get downstairs to the TV to watch the New Year countdown. And there were like 10 mins plus of non-stop fireworks, so it was quite okay=)
But I really didn't make any New Year's resolutions, because I think that I won't do them(or most of them)anyway, and I know I'll feel like crap if I look back at the end of the year and see how much stuff I DIDN'T accomplish.
Well, I'm off to bed now, got some lovely training in about 5hrs time! See ya'll!!!!!XD Love the New Year!!!!!
