Why the hell do parents, when they say "You know I don't want to nag at you, BUT...." always continue nagging on for another 15mins - 1hour and then in the future they always nag again? It doesn't make sense to me, really.

Screw it, if you don't want to nag you don't HAVE TO you know. Its not like there's a nagging switch inside your brain that can't be turned off when we make a mistake/you're not happy. "Argh Bryan didn't do what I asked him to do again...Can't.....resist...must....NAG!!!!!!!"
It's a free choice, damnit. Amazingly(and this may come as a revelation) you can actually CHOOSE not to nag! WOWWEEE WHAT A SURPRISE!!!

And I don't know why, but it seems that they think that just because we're teenagers everything we do wrong just HAS to be an act of rebellion.

"Oh, you forgot to do your homework? You'd better stop this rebelling."

"Oh, you did badly on your test? Stop rebelling against your teachers."

"Oh you started cutting yourself again? Must be rebelling."

"You had another round of psychosis and killed 20 people? Why must you always rebel against me like this.....{nagging continues for another 2 hours}"

I just don't get how adults think. I swear I will never do this to my own children(if I have any) when they are my age and boy will THEY be grateful for it.

Sorry about this angsty post but my mom just nagged at me and I felt really pissed and I had to let it out. I get d@mn sarcastic when I'm pissed, so yeah.
Hey, maybe I should write an article for Cracked.com whenever I'm angry, then at least the sarcasm won't go to waste=).
